[QUOTE=20aeman,May 27 2008, 11:05 AM] I'm curious as to why you guys use unnecessarily large turbos and run them at low boost?

I don't know what the turbonetics kit is like but the 60-1 itself is capable of plenty of power. I'm now running a 62-1 and the car feels even stronger than it was but I don't have a dyno of the 62-1 yet.
I saw you two weeks ago when i was in bend on vaca. you could see that intercooler from atleast a half mile.

i was a sliver M3 sedan going the oppsite direction, i was headed to the family fun center.

Tom has a tendency of getting the jump and going on the 2nd honk. He's a little cheater.

It's good to know ya'll got some good runs in and your car is making nice power. I remember when he was supercharged and it was slower than my S2000 with a 75 shot. With FI, a lot can be had with a good tune.

Good runs! I'd think about getting some Mickey Thompson street radials as well if i were you.

Thats what he put down. With him only having 290whp i am sure 185wtq is reasonable. I havnt seen the dynos so i cant explain it. I am sure he is just running a safe tune for the time being since he still has the stock HeadGasket.

What you havnt considered is that UNLIKE the Greddy which is basically maxed out as it comes out of the box. His turbo is capable of MUCH more power should he lower the compression and retune for more boost.

Its not my car, so i can only speculate.
