Not really a race

Came to Vancouver, B.C. today from Seattle and went through the border in Blaine. All the cars lined up and waited to go through the immigration officers. Out of nowhere this gray S2000 in the lane to my right , top down, started revving like crazy and wouldn't stop. Everyone looked back at the driver and the passenger like they were a couple of morons and laughed at them literally (heard it from other cars that had windows down) . Just what the hell were they thinking? It's not like the cars in front of/around them didn't wanna get the hell outta there as soon as they can.

My Lexus LX470 still beat him to the border and got into Canada sooner though

But seriously, I wonder if that driver reads this board and can better explain why he did what he did If I was driving my Z4 3.0, I'd have given him a good run after passing the border.

 

Not defending those guys, because they were obviously morons, but there are a lot of moronic pricks who drive Z3/4 too, or Bimmers in general.

 

My post was only directed at those 2 today. They could easily have been driving a Z4 or a Boxster or any other car just as well, and still be the morons that they were. I'm definitely not generalizing all S2000 drivers. I have a good friend that drives a S2000 and I drool over his S everytime I see it.

 

Well, even if they were on here, they wouldn't go out of their way to admit to being morons.
