The guy messed with the stock exhuast too. messing with the stock with an weld muffler can lose hp.

like the miata conversion. they shortened the intake, and exhaust, and lost something like 30-40hp. Honda really did their homework with the stock intake and exhaust.

For what it's worth, lighter wheels and tires on my track ITR made a difference in acceleration big enough that you could tell ...

Is it more of a difference as far as tracking or sraight line? I would think both but it's probably helps more when exiting turns and the initial acceleration out.

I'm hoping to get lighter wheels for that reason, bu I really like my stock wheels so I'm kind of in a dilema.

All over really. The first time I accelerated onto the straight I was impressed by the difference. Probably 2/10's to 100 for all I know -- but it sure felt stronger.

Damn that is alot of Hondas ro race in one night...I gotta call BS on the Turbo Civic my friend Mike has a full snyper kit on his 95 Hatch/ Full GS-R Motor Swap/Kaaz LSD/Apexi N1 Ehaust/DC Headers and Jackson Racing charger pushing 8PSI and that thing is stupid fast...I`ve seen him whip off on 2 Sti`s an EVO,94 Supra TT/MY 01 S2000 (Me) 1999 Mustang cobra with I/E/ 95 Rx-7 with boost controller/ LS 1 z28/ and alot of other shit......Turbo should be a bit faster

PS he has full Black leather Ingtra GSR interior/Spoon mirrors/VIS Carbon Fiber hood and a 3 piece wing....The car is painted White with blue & purple pearl

Dam tht must be one fast civic. Well I did lose to that uy, but only lost by about car or ca an half by the end. You gotta understand I had a near perfet reation time, and an awesome lunh wih it. He reacted nearly a second after I did. I jumped ahead about 2 cars just from the first two gears, but once he got into third he reeled me in very quickly and passed me as I got into fourth. Oh by the way I checked and see that he runs low twelves t the place which at sea level would equal mid to high elevens. Thats one crazy civic.

I know exactly what you mean reaction time and all that means alot...Because my boy Scott had a EF Civic with and Intake and a pieced together Exhaust system and he would walk a RSX- Type S just because he could drive that well....But sometimes its doesn`t matter how good of a driver you are. You could put any professional driver into a LS integra and me in my S2000 and I will win everytime....Know what I am saying.....Power makes up for how shitty of a driver you are...If you are a good driver and have alot of power thats one leathal Combo.........

P.S. my boy mike ran a 12.1 with his LSD I think his trapp speed was something like 108MPH....I know some are going to say thats is not enough but it is....He has pretty much everything you can do for traction besides slicks..... Since then he ha dropped the GSR and has a B20 Block from AEBS/CTR head w/Integra Type R Exhaust cam/ Springs/Retainers/Valves/Programable ECU/ Custom Turbo kit/ At 20PSI he is make 437FWHP and about 321 for torque....Now that thing is not drivable its too fast for the street and it doesn`t turn that well because his suspension is set up for drag racing.... I would put it up against any streetbike......

Are you sure? The latest 600 cc sportbikes are in the 10's. Liter bikes are cracking 9's, no mods.
