Default M3 Crash After racing an s2000

I was racing an m3 in the fog yesterday, and it was getting pretty bad, I would say we hit about 90 on local streets, well I couldn't see anymore, I had my top down, so I slowed down to wait and let my friend catch up. So I waited for like 30 seconds till my friend in his jeep caught up, and then we were off again, until about 5 lights up I was the M3 crashed into a pole he did a 180 turn, and the light pole had twisted up his car, and also fell on his car, the driver was ok, but the car is history....... Kinda sad to see that but at least the driver was ok.

Play with fire, get burnt. Or worse still, burn some innocent bystander.

Let me get this straight ; you were racing at 90 mph, on the street, in the fog? You are the perfect example of the risks that can seperate my family from me, by insane stunts like this.

In a word: don't do this

did you stop to see if everything was okay? or did you just wave good bye to the car and possibly the driver?

btw, please stay off the streets, it will help my insurance premiums in the future.

Not to flame or anthing, but I'm from Fresno, Ca - the fog gets really bad around here in the Central Valley.....especially around winter time. Driving fast and fog definitely do not mix

This happended a few months ago around our area because people were driving way too fast in the fog.

2 people were killed and 87 cars were damaged

Yes, please save it for the track. Street Racing at the best of times is risky......racing in the fog is completely immature and reckless. You're asking for troble.

You are lucky he is not dead...and you would be possibly be party to something akin to a manslaughter charge. And, what if you had hit somebody else?

I'm not sure what kind of support you were looking for when making this post (or possibly laughs).

However, we all make errors once in a while. So, once again, please save it for the track.

Peace.

There seem to be a number of these posts lately. Though I don't condone street racing, and to an great extent think the drivers deserve the flames they get for posting these instances, I commend them for bringing up the issues.

In most of the instances (such as this one), the driver's have expressed their regrets for the situation. Hopefully THEY have learned their lessons, but more importantly their actions and relaying of the stories give many of US the opportunity to learn what can happen without having to experience it firsthand.

Webstore, thank you for posting. I sincerely hope you HAVE learned your lesson and that you will be more careful in the future. I am sincerely glad that nobody got hurt, but if your story is accurate, that is purely by luck.

If it happens again, you likely won't be so lucky.
