how much power are those things pushing? turbo? what kind? and i'm guessing its a 2.3 litre?

 

Oh I forget and google is too far away...I think like 260 with around 220ish torque.

I just seen people and know peeps with mazda's and dont do too well when it comes to reliability.....

Yeah they share the same motor as the mazdaspeed 6 which has 264hp and 280hp with 6spd and lsd.. the only thing bad is it is FWD and not AWD like the 6.... Either way, I am a huge fan of the 3.. I almost bought one back in 2004. And now that they have the speed and only costing 23K you cant beat it.

 

how fast is the 6? 1/4 0-60 and then wthats the speed on the 3?

I can image off the line with a good launch you can get that 6 a good 0-60. but on the hwy....can they beat us? is that a 6 cylinder? or 4? 2.3 litre?

 

you'd think mazda would have put as much effort into the MS3 as the freaking rx-8

 

I've seen a couple on the highway, but none of the drivers want to bite Or there's traffic :/

 

Ok So are all the mazda 3 hatches I see mazda speed 3's? or is there a certain emblem I should be looking for?

 

the ms3 has a larger spoiler, larger bumpers, 18 inch rims, and says MAZDASPEED3 on the back, i think thats all that looks different from the base model.
