Nice kill. Most STI's aren't much from a roll without the right mods. When I was trapping at 106 running low 13's, I smoked my buddies high 12 second STI from a 1st and 2nd gear roll..3-4 cars by 110 or so. It was rather funny actually. Most of there braging right's come from there AWD hole shot, and 1.6 60 ft's. And other then S2Kguy's pict's, I find most of them are rather fugly IMO. Good kill none the less.
are u modded? if so, what u got? I wonder how I'd do against an Sti with my mods during a 1st and 2nd gear roll?

Well, with gears man! I'm impressed at what the s2000's can do. What hurts the Sti's so much is that the gearing is no way good enough for high speed rolls. I mean for goodness sake I shift into fifth gear at 98mph. LOL Sti's are really strong down low and mid range and after 5th gear a lot of cars can either keep up with a modded STi or beat it. Until the turbo upgrade comes into play.....

You're absolutely right. Take a look a this video I made of my car when it was bone stock. No effort was made to shift quickly, I was only trying to hit the electronic limiter to show mph discrepancy (152 indicated is actually 145), but you can clearly see what happens as I shift to 5th, and then 6th.

Linky

The car pulls a lot harder now in the upper-ranges with the mods I have, but it's still a 0-100 mph car, whereas the '07 can compete to 114.

holy shit thats crazy! My buddy is getting an Sti later this year. He said something about an ECU upgrade that adds 25HP and putting on that big exhaust automatically makes it a stage 2, is this correct?

Stage 1: exhaust (down/pipe by itself, or with a CBE/TBE), or Engine Management.
Stage 2: exhaust + EM

Stage 1 is usually good for 15-25 hp, Stage 2 is usually good for 35-55 hp, but a professional tune can change things significantly. By ECU upgrade he's probably talking about the Cobb Tuning AccessPort Stage 1.
