Default me vs 3 cops

got caught doing 65 in a 35 on clemson blvd in anderson. 350$ and 6 points. i have a question, has anyone heard of pleading "wreckless operation". i heard it takes off the points but ups the fine. i really can't afford these points, the fine sucks, but i'd much rather pay it off now than pay for it in insurance later. i know i was lucky and that they could have arrested me or taken my license, but i'd really like to get out of some of this ticket. i'm weighing my options, if i should plead this or not. if you have any advice on this or know any law enforcement in anderson city please let me know. thanks

I thought that's what you're supposed to be doing.

Wreckless operation is the key to good driving and low insurance rates. jk

Tried a little humor. Didn't work. Anyway, I'd be surprised if reckless operation would be less points, but don't know your system. If you've got a clean record, you could try talking to the DA and see what's available. They may care more about the fine and less about the points. If so, you might be able to strike a bargain. Other than that, lawyer up and take your chances.

You have no idea what kinds of tickets a lawyer has gotten me out of.

its always been in my best interest to just pay the fine and hope they dont add to insurance. last time i fought a ticket, i waited in court for like 3 hours and they reduced it from 250 to 125. i was like "ok...i wanted it dropped but i guess thats better than nothing." so then i go to pay and shes like "they reduced it to 125, and then court fees are $120, so that brings you to $245" ($5 off what i originally got!!!) complete waste of time, the only pleasure i got was hanging with four of my friends who were there for the same reason, and smoking a blunt on the ride back to school. then again ive been to driver re-training 4 times, so who knows.

that's why you get a lawyer, who doesn't take it to court, but gets you adjudication, which means you pay the fine, keeps it off your insurance, and promise not to do it again. If you do get another ticket, you get a lawyer, who doesn't go to court but gets you adjudication, which means you pay the fine, keeps it off your insurance, and promise not to do it again. If you do get another ticket, you get a lawyer, ...

The cop must be jealous about ur car over his own. Most my friends get speeding the officers always drop the speed by aleast 10-20.

I think you should go to court with a lawyer 6 points for speeding and if your under 25 I bet your going to be paying over 12G a year or more or even worst they won't insure you anymore.
