Me vs 3 stangs.
been a while since i posted in here. so here goes.
sunday i went to our weekly rollons. ive spoke of them before, and they are always a good show.
on my way, i run acrossed a black new GT, 06 or 07 with no exhaust. sounds good, who knows what mods. i leave him alone, (i have more mods now so its a waste of my time). but he throws a rev at me at about 50 mph. so i say, well, he stirred the bees nest.
we end up stopped at charleston and town center. facing south on TC. he brings it up, and i bring it up. light turns and im out. at 110 a had about 6-7 cars on him.
SO i go back to the runs because i never did get there.
A run then ensues with an srt4, and a 99 NA cobra. both modded, i want to trace to see where they stand. so we do a freeway roll, and i run them down so hard that i had to go around the stang and go after the srt4. when we get back, there is quite a buzz about my car, as a few people were watching.
two of my good friends ask what my latest trap was. they cant see how i reeled them in.
i say 106.. they all say WTF!! NO WAY!!!! instantly a debate ensues, and i said.. we can handle this right quick with some dig runs. they agreed, oddly enough, they both have 01-02 GT stangs. one with mods, one stock. they wanted to run, because their math was, if i trap that big, ill be way out on them.
SO we run from a dig, 3 wide coming north on town center from a light. everyone agreed to getting a decent launch, and nobody slept. i had the same 6-7 cars on them at 106 that i had on the newer stang.
they said... we take it all back. and when we got back they were sports and admitted. when asked, "how far did he get you guys by" they hung their heads and said... a LOONG ways.
i just smiled at this point, and let it sink in. hehe. later dave
