Well, IMO the scenario was either:

A poorly driven Firebird Formula got edged out by a well driven S2000.....

OOOOoooor....

A well driven V6 Firebird slightly lost to a poorly driven s2000.

Hell, I'll even be willing to accept that if it was the case and I was the one driving . I havn't tracked or raced my car much as I would like to so I havn't really learned how to bring out the cars full potential yet. Still learning the launch points and what not. Either way, it was our first time meeting each other and he wanted a friendly run, it was a cool way to break the ice.

IMO, the s2000 is the easiest car to have fun in, but not always the easiest car to drive fast when you're new-ish to it. Go out autocrossing with your firebird buddy and see the difference

I was wrong, they dropped the WS6 package from the formula meaning nobody bought them. Sorry. I lived in a GM town and after the new Trans ams came out in 98 with the WS6 package, I never saw an LS1 (formula).. Oh well. I stand corrected. (after I did my own research on wikipedia)

[QUOTE=Cyntex,Jan 22 2007, 06:16 PM] He say's I have a "shift kit" but I don't...

My mods: Invidia V3 w/ TP + Muz Countersunk

This was a pretty empty 4 lane road so we made sure not to endanger anyone while doing this and the car that you see flip a U-Turn during the 40 roll was a friend. Anyways - Enjoy the video.

Run 1 from a stop: S2000 wins
Run 2 40mph roll: S2000 wins

I really need my CDV removed

Newer formula's did have the WS6 pack but they are pretty rare. If you guy have any questions about Ls1s or Lt1s just ask me about them. I like s2000s I respect them as a fast N/A 4 cyl car with excellent handling. I currently own a 1998 pontiac Trans Am and I used to own a 1993 pontiac formula so I have a little bit of know on those kinds of cars.

-Kumainu that was a 1998-2002 v6. The 1993-1997 Lt1s have a different front clip and hood than the newer years

First off, I am the owner who got whooped by that little white s2k...

Ok, so you people must not know much about F-bodies..as much as I don't know much about imports right?...
The owner of the s2k was set up to race me by a friend...hereby who told me he supposably had a shift kit..shifter..whatever the hell u wanna call it..and "full titanium exhaust"....
He came to me asking if I would race him, I didn't back down having a few problems with my car.

Problems:
1. Broken Transmission Mount
2. EGR showing Low Input
3. Bank 1 Sensor 2 shoing No Input

I Told both, about the problems of my car...
and yes, it is equipped with a LS1, the Formulas were equipped with a 350 LS1 engine starting the year 1998.

The problems I listed above, do affect the running time of my vehicle, as I was told by a couple of shops in town. My bird isn't running good, is what I told Cyntex, and the friend noticed the shitty idle that my car had...And Yes, my car is stock! Next time we see each other (this if for Cyntex) pop my hood, i'm all stock! and it only sounds loud due to the V8 in it!

Anyone else feeling free to flame? Do it....
I did admit I got beat...
I never said I would win, but I did advise of the problems my car had before even racing....

Thanks..

AJ....
