If it was an LS1 the numbers are more like 350 hp. Same powerplant as the vette minus dual exhaust but it also didn't have IRS soaking the hp up, so the vette and the F-body both put down around 300 to the tires. The 305hp rating on the F-body is just a marketing scheme vs. the 345hp rating of the Vette's.
