me and a friend went out to go race after a discussion that he would leave me in the dust.so we headed out to the street with no cars around and went at it.
we did a race from a stand still and then in the highway
1st. i got him of the line by a half a car but then his second gear kicked in and passed me but only by a little.i stuck with him till the end of 3rd gear which he was in front and my tire was on his back tire so i lost
2nd. we started at 30 and went all the way till 130ish he was in the lead but i was on his ass i was surprissed i thought he would pull on me with his amg v8

i lost bought of the races but proved a point to him that he would not leave me behind

wont do that again in the streets.....

 

suprising you kept up that good, be careful on the streets

 

What mods for both cars?

Very interesting. I would have thought the clk55 AMG would have been quicker.

I wonder how good of a driver your friend is

 

he has a stock clk55 2002 or 2001
and mine is a stock ap1 2001 bald rear tires

he is not a good driver but how good do you have to be to step on the gas cause of the automatic merc and he did not have that much spin on take off

I have a C55 and I'm suprised he didn't put buslengths on you. I could see you getting a jump if he had the tc on or wasn't in gear but even still he should have caught up and ran away. Just proves anything can happen on the streets though. Rub it in his face from time to time and deny him a rematch

the clk55 amg still puts out a good 350+ hp. i dont know....

240hp/367hp....

 

i know it dont add up i couldnt believe it either but ill take it for what it was
