just washed the s2 and decided to take it out on the hwy to let her dry off. so i get on the hwy and merge at about 120. you know those times when the right song pops up on the ipod and an on-ramp clears before you, it a sign from the vtec gods. do it.

so i fly on the hwy and settle in the fast lane. so i shift up to 6th and settle down to about 85. so i adjust the a/c(the top is up, car is still drying). after getting comfy i notice a little red car that has lock on me. it catches up and i see its a new elise, bright red and ready to play. as i am looking back the middle-aged drive moves his hands motioning me to get out of the way. yes sir. i promtly go from 6-3 and then wait just a second, and plant my foot firmly on the floor.

to be honest, it wasnt pretty for the little lotus. from 4th to the middle of 5th, i pull VERY convincingly away from him. lets call it 3-5 cars. hard to tell looking in the rear view mirror.

i shift to 6ht and settle down to 85 again. i move over and give him a waved, he just glears back at me and takes off. so i get back into 3rd and by the middle of 4th i have caught him and kindly wave as shifting into 5 i walk on by. i think i proved my point.

i was supprised i pulled him as hard as i did. oh and by the way i am on stock exhaust rite now, i sold my spoon and i am having a custom 70mm made. so i am down about 8-9RWHP now. i know its not alot, but it not the full monte i am used too.
