I just recently picked up an 05 s2k and before that I never really drove stick except for a few times on my friends car. Anyways my friend has an 04 auto Z with a pop charger. We did a few races and from a stop I can pull on it till the end of 4th then it reals me in. From a roll I can only hang for a bit (I'm at 5500 to 6000 RPM) then it pulls. Is this right or am I just a shitty driver?

 

Practice shifting faster for starters. You will be ahead.

I think you should have beat an auto one. Not quite sure what a pop charger is?

Pop charger is an intake, I'm pretty sure. Since you're new to stick, learn to shift faster and you'll be amazed at the result.

 

i haven't and never launched my s2k. slowly start take it to 8500 which comes quick after 6k in 1st and just keep on shiftin.....then comfort him when the race is over...and you should never lose again.

 

you should be wwwayyyyy ahead of an Auto pre rev-up engine Z..... work on your driving....

 

i raced my brothers 04-05 accord in my moms auto 06 350z auto. my brother pulls on me in 4th which is close to 100+. and i can whip his a$$ in my S! +1 on the pop charger intake....big roar.!!
