Yesterday night im on Glenoaks in Glendale with a friends Evo 9. We parked and we saw a 91 integra comming into the 7-11 parking. While hes leaving a friend see's he had a intercooler. So i talk to him. ask if he wants to run the evo. He said no. so he left and came right back. He said u want me to run the evo. then i brought up or if u want my s2k. he said ok to my s2k. He had a Gsr C turbo boostin 7 psi. We were at 65. He let me go first......i put about a car on him till 120, then after 120 he passed me and by 135 he put like a car and a half on me. He had someone in his car and i was alone. He was fast!!!!! I Have sooooooooo many race storys. Just ask and ill tell.

So how does your S stock up against your friends evo 9 (assuming both are stock)? Real results only please, we have had enough speculation

Well im not going to lie about evos and that stuff. While we were racing. the evo in total had 4 people in the car and he was pulling hair by hair on me. i was solo. My bro has a evo 8 Mr and the evo 9 seems faster then a stock 8 Mr. But the race between my bro and the evo 9 would be a joke. My bros mr will put a good 4 cars if not more on the evo 9. as for other storys


Ive ran my bros evo when we were stock and from about 65-120 he would put about a car and a half on me. But last time we race from a 45-100 run he put about 5 cars on me.

I ran a sti with intercooler, down pipe and intake. I had him by 1 car till 150, put he passed me by the time i hit 157. This was from a 45 roll. As he said he had a boost leak.

The crazyest race i had was with a 2001 S4. I was solo and this guy had his friend with him. We started at 45 and went to 140. I had about a 2 cars on him till 120, but after that it was like he had nos in his car. This guy flewww by me at 135, and was no were to bee seen. End of the freeway i called him up asking how fast he hit. THIS GUY TOLD ME 170!!!!. He had an ecu and exhaust. And trust me it looked like he went that fast, cuz when i was at 140 he was just putting cars on me. And naw he didnt have nos, but it seemed like it.

Sorry i dont go into details i just give results. I Have a lot of races with s2k's ill post them up in a bit.

 

Haha..Please post your Evo stories because when I said my Evo was stock vs our S2K nobody would believe that I could pull on our S2K. I had similar results, it was a close race but by about 120 I had about 1-1.5 cars on our S before having to let off.

Now if your saying the Evo 9 with 4 people in it was pulling your S could you imagine if it only had 1 person in it.

Well it matters if you have a Mr id believe u would put that many cars on a s2k and its happend to me when my bro was stock. But a normal evo 8 i think i can go heads up on the freeway if not maybe pass him, but not by much. Just the other day i saw a evo 8 on sunset. Asked him to run. I had a friend and he was alone. this guy let me go first, right when i went he came. we went all of first, second, third, and stopped at 4th, he never passed me. i had about half a car on him. This was from a 5 mph roll. As far as the other fourm i posted it up already fighting for evos, cuz man there fast cars.


And leme make myself clear. I do believe u no matter what u say, its just maybe drivers so i dont maean i would believe u, cuz no matter what i do believe u.

 

Lol, I know what your sayin, but when I was bone stock I did it to our S2K and a friends. Also the Evo 8 MR isnt much faster than a regular Evo, I have seen plenty of Evo 8's dyno higher than MR's. I have always said maybe mine was a bit stronger from the factory who knows, even WORKS said they though my car felt pretty strong.

What does your brother have done to his MR? I myself have been going to WORKS for a while now and love their products and service.
