Nice kill.

'96 and up Cobras don't have pushrods, btw. They are DOHC V8.

that's about what I though a 96-98 Cobra would do with an S2000...

power to weight ratio is

11.70 lbs/hp for the S2000
11.16 lbs/hp for the Cobra

with the Cobra (.34 Cd) being slightly more aerodynamic than the S2000 (.36/.38 Cd top up/down), but slightly more frontal area

68.9" wide and 50.6" high for S2000
71.8" wide and 53.2" high for Cobra

It's 430's not 433's , and that why he killed you off the line. I'm suprised he didn't light up the tires from a roll w/ those gears. I only have 373's and I can burn mine form anything under 35mph if I mat it.

Honestly, I'm suprised you hung with him and then top ended him- Nice job.

P.S. - Pullies add 6-8rwhp and 7-10rwtq. I dont know how much rwhp the exhaust is good for though since you didnt mention if it had a catback or X- pipie.

Saud2k-In the following post I am assuming your car is stock.

As long as the Cobras are not modded play away and you will win a few races (I'm talking about 96-98 Cobras). I would suggest playing from a roll because S2k's are hard to launch and if you don't launch your not going to beat one form a stop.
Playing from a roll is a different story as you can use your car's strengths better. A 25-30 mph roll would be perfect as a Cobra ( with the stock 327's) would be right in between 1st and 2nd gear.

I just wanted everyone to know that a 98 cobra does not have pushrods. It's a DOHC engine. A cobra's true dual exhaust is not annoying either.

It dont matter if the cobra has a pushrod v8 or not. I dont even have half the engine and torque of the cobra, and still pulled on him! Its still a ford with old school technology!

Sorry, but I am tired of hearing v8's! I think they are annoying! I rather hear a F20C or SR20DET. V8's are for the 60's & 70's. My opinion.
