Default My thought

I love the S2000 and may have bought one instead of the Z but one little problem. I couldn't fit in the car.

I'm probably opposite of most Z/S2000 owners. Here are my likes /dislikes

I like the 350Z motor but I was used to having that high reving rush from other Honda's that I've owned. What I do like about the Z is that you can just be cruising along in 2nd gear at any RPM and as soon as you punch it you take off (usually sideways). I know they are about equal in #'s but the S2000 feels a lot faster because of the Vtec.

I like the way the S2000 handles when the speed is below 80 or so. I like the Z better for high speeds. At 120 the Z feels a lot more stable then the S2000. If I was going to autocross I would want an S2000 but if I was going to race around Indy (never) I would want the Z. The Z rides pretty rough on certain types of pavement (Bouncing).

The Z always gets slammed for it's interior which I don't understand. It's very similar to the S2000 in that it just has the bare neccesities. IMO they are both comfortable once your in the seat and both are hard to get out of which most sports cars are. The S2000 needs more room for people over 6 foot though. The Z's window line needs to be lower so I can hang my arm over the side.

Looks. Love it or hate it the Z sticks out and you constantly get positive feedback from people. I love the looks of the Z. I like the looks of the S2000 but I wish Honda would be a little more creative in their designs (Besides the NSX).

I've been very happy with the Z and I'm sure I would have been just as happy with the S2000.

Fitment is an issue for a lot of S2000 owners/potential owners but I don't think they could have made it any bigger without taking a weight hit on performance with such a small motor.
