Default MY00 Vs. 05 ap2

My modds: header and dual exhaust, clutch+ flywheel (18inch 255 rims)
Ap2 modds: Test pipe, clutch+flywheel and street slicks on his stock ap2 rims

raced him 4 times, rolling 40km ( i think 20Miles)

3 beeps and i keep a distance of 1 car infront of him all gears

i want to know if this was a good run from my s2000 against a brand new ap2, cause i never compared it with another S. wanted to know if my00 with 80miles on it is still good.

let me know what you think guys ..

Slicks of course won't matter on a rolling race. Race my AP2 =). I've had nothing but good outcomes when racing ap1's (WITH bolt ons). Esp with 18's? Doesn't sound right.

well depending on driver skill, the actual power of each motor, weight and what the actual mods do to your power output will have a decidedly large factor in acceleration!

Maybe your car is a freak, or his is just slower or not broken in? Or maybe the difference is in the reponse to the 3 honks (who did the honks?) or one of the above had an influence!

In general, 00-01 are slower than 02-03 because of richer A/F's uptop and 04+ make about 10whp more than AP1's... with factory freaks and weaks inbetween to equal out the bell's curve!
