MY04 vs. DB9
Ok this is one sexy car to cruise with!!!!!!! I was heading home before going to the grove meet on Los Feliz when I came right behind a brand spankin new DB9. This is my first time seeing this crazy thing on the streets. It was from what I saw a light blue color, and sounded very nice. Ofcourse I didn't get to hear it until I gave the guy a little rev from behind him
. Surprisingly he reved back a cuple times. Problem was we were in bad traffic. I didn't expect what happen next to happen.
We stopped at a light and when we started moving I shifted to second at around 20, and once I did the right lane was completely open. He slammed it, and I tried to follow, but was to far low a speed in second to do anything. I came back and was in second waiting at 48. I got on it just before I though he would, and sure enough he got back on it to. shift to third and we are pulling at an even pace. shift to fourth and he started slowing down to to a parked car.
I had a chance to line up next to him at the next red, but he made a left on a small street just before it
. would have been nice to race him from a dig. I bet he wouldn't know how to drive it from a stop
.
In no way am I saying I won, but I thought it was a good encounter. I was surprised it didn't just kill me, but then again it was a brand new car, with a driver who may not have had a clue what he was doing, or he was just scared shitless about pushing that pricey car
. Next time I see him it's on!!!!
hope yall enjoyed.

I ran into a dark grey one 2 weeks ago in LaJolla,CA. Younger guy with his girl.
I lined up on his right side at stop-light and pointed out that part his girls coat was hanging out of the door. I felt like being a nice guy
After that he zig-zagged his way ahead in traffic. 35 or so minutes later I catch up with him on 405 North doing the same. I take advantage of him clearing the path and follow suit....in my underpowered, bad handling although luxurious Kia Amanti rental car
I wished my S was with me at that time...
Aston Martins are definitely some of the sweetest things on 4-wheels around. At my old job the CEO had a silver V12 Vanquish that I couldn't keep my eyes off of. I thought it was in pretty poor taste for him to drive it too work everyday but I guess if I had that kind of cash I wouldn't give a damn either.
