Default MY04 vs. Lexus IS

Was heading to CSUN to meet with my advisor to discuss somethings about my classes. Enter the 101S being tailed by a black IS which I could tell was slammed. He comes up beside me on my right and I gatta see the only thing making the car look nice was the sweet drop. Other then that I could hear what sounded like an exhaust which I would see later, and ofcourse some huge crome flower type rims . I look over and see the driver looking at me with some wierd smirk on his face like he was about to show me something I'd never seen before. The drivers window was fully down, but the back window was half way and I saw two more guys back there dogging me, and then say something to eachother and laugh. I played it kool and just gave them a smile, and a little quick rev. Not to high, but not to low, but just enough so that they would hear it. The driver does some wierd expression like big man, then I hear him get on it. We were around 60 at the time so I slowly put it into 3rd. He had jumped ahead of me and I could see that he had duel exhaust, with each having dual tips, so four in total. I hammer the gas and by the time I get into fourth I am beginning to pass him I just look over with a smile as I fly by. Shift into fourth and put my hand up and give a wave as I get in front of him and keep pulling. It wasn't even funny how it ended. Ofcourse after that he didn't try coming up to me again, and I think he even began to drive below the speed limit.

Oh and I had my top down.

Thankx for reading,

Ruben

Nice kill. I've heard of a couple of people getting custom dual exhaust, but its pretty rare.

Unless they have built the engine or went FI, there is no chance an IS can keep up. It's fun to watch them try though.

He could have always just had two canisters welded to the stock piping.

Yup. I see Civics with dual tips. I doubt he took the time to get true dual exhaust systems.

I used to clean up on those things in my RSX.

The S2000 would just be wasting its gas.
