Default MY04 vs. Supra

forgot to post about this encounter.

I am the biggest supra fan in the world. my favorite car, and I'd originally wanted it before buying the S but didn't want to pay so much for a used car.

anyway I left the spugen meet after showing up late, and was heading down to ams. On the way I saw a black supra up ahead with a huge exhaust(similar to mine ). I passed him rather quickly then I look back on he is on my tail. He switches to my right and gets on it. I down to fourth at 85 and were off. He gets off for a second then gets back on to get behind me. I do the same to make it even. I am ahead now and pulling srong. I have about 4 cars between us and decide to let off and get on again to see what happens. I'm still pulling!

He quit after that, then decided o stay behind and not try to pass.

Obviously I do not feel this was a turbo version...but if it was then the guy either couldn't drive or the car was in amazingly bad condition.

Or it was just stock with an exhaust.... I spanked a turbo rx-7 on the highway that had an exhaust and a body kit.

You spanked a RX7 what year is it? is it the round body (FD) or is it the supra looking body (FC)? Is your S2K stock or hook up? Cus I did owned two FC turbo and knows some what about them.

i believe his s2000 is stock - either way, if the FD had only a catback, its not gonna do much damage, especially since these cars are showing their age now, and many arent running correctly.

btw nice choice for color combination on your S

Yes what he said. Stock S2000 (airbox cover removed I swear it makes top end crazy). My car is a bit weird though... while I was pulling on the Rx-7, I was also pulling on another s2000 (by alot).

i raced a FD a while back. Had an exhaust that sounded like an angry weed whacker. the s lost by a car length, if that, to crazy speeds. i even had a passenger to witness the Slowness.

almost every FD I see on the street has some sort of huge exhaust system. it's rare to see one without it here.

I'm sorry and not trying to put the S down but I don't believe that an FD stock would lose to any stock S and especially with an exhaust. I've did own two FC Turbo and an FD. 1 stock FC, 1 stock FD and 1 FC mild-modified and knowing them cars the only one I would see losing to the S is the stock FC. Cus I
