So on my way home last night I spot a brand new Boxter out for a test drive (I pass by a Porsche dealership on my way home every day). I catch up to him just before he makes a right onto this nice long strech that goes by the Miramar base. Conveniently, this is also my way home. So he makes the right and punches it in first. I make the right right behind him but I'm in second gear. He pulls away for a second until I get into my power band and boom, I start crawling up his ass. I start passing him on the right while in second gear vtec and slam it into thrird at redline and must have put two or three car lengths on him in about a couple of seconds...
He then shuts down and pulls over to the side of the road as I disappear. I don't know if the dealer got pissed at him for flooring it and asked him to pull over or if he just decided that was it for his boxter test drive after being wooped by a honda but it was priceless. Put a large, large smile on my face. I'm guessing the dealer didn't sell the boxter to that guy.
I knew we were faster than boxters but I didn't know it was that bad. He never had a chance... If I'd been in first around the corner like he was it would have been so much worse but I'm glad I wasn't cause it would have been over before it ever started.

 

Was it a Boxster S? Also trying to figure out what you achieved in doing what you did.

Absolutly faster than the boxter, and not just a little from what happened last night.
I think that the Boxter S is faster than our cars though. I think the old one was about the same, maybe a bit faster but I'm pretty sure the new one would kill our cars in all conditions. In all fairness though with a few basic options it costs twice the price of an S2K.
