I got beat out of a toll both at a 25 mph roll, i was with him until I shifted from 3-4 where he made it obvious his car was faster....I think i need some more power, 04 Z06 I think is where I am going, and soon...What do you guys thnk

STi's can be pretty fast. They are dead even with my 2004 M3, I've raced them on several accounts, and I don't pull away until 90 - 100 mph.

From a roll, I whip them though.

When I had my 2003 s2000 spa yellow, STi pulled 1-2 cars on me from 55-110, he didn't kill my s2000 that bad, but I had all the bolt ons, cusco 6 puck racing clutch and flywheel, Toda header, mugen exhaust, etc. much lighter than a stock s2000, with the aftermarket bolt-ons. I knew the STi was faster, I actually thought my S2 had a chance though. Never bolted on my S/C, I returned it.

04 Z06 would be a great car.

 

Not bad,those things are supposed to be faster than Stooks anyways,A Z06 would be a great choice.

Was the STI modded at all? I steadily pulled on an STI from a 35ish roll on the highway. They are beasts from the line but not known for being all that quick top end.

 

i think its funny how you want to get new car because you got beat by someone.
after you get the z06, i hope you dont get another car if you get beaten by someone else.
but hey its your decision.

power is addicting and you will always want more power. i think its in human nature to do so.

i figured out long time ago and now i just enjoy what i have and work on suspension and exterior.

 

there are not to many places to go after a Z06, unless i win the mega millions. And even after that, there are not that many people with exotics that will actually push their cars.

 

it doesnt have to be exotic cars to beat z06.
civics with some good work done to it can take out z06 or matter of fact, any cars with good works done can beat z06.

what i'm saying is there is really no limit on "I need more power"

its just me, i stopped for needing more and more power.
