Noble M12
I was behind one this morning, a red one with a new owner plate. I couldn't figure out what it was, big wide wing and a squared boxy butt.
Anyway the light changed and he took off slow, me too, and I thought he wasn't going to play. Then he punched it. By the time I hit Vtec in 1st he was 4 cars out. By the time we both laid off, he was only 3. I thumbs upped him but he wouldn't look at me. I think I scared him when he realized I was still right there and closing in 3rd.
I looked up their website online. Either my s2000 grew wings or their numbers are funny.

well, if it was new he may have been shifting very early in rpm, as he still needs to break in the engine. [he would still pull on you alot shifting early too lol ]
The newer Noble M12 GTO-3R run like mid-high 11s i believe and will out handle just about anything near or dobule its price.... Its truely an AMAZING car especially considering its cheaper than a viper and will royally hand a viper its ass in every respect....
I believe the 2000 year m12 GTOs only ran like low - mid 12s so maybe thats why you were kind of close..
I dunno just my .02 cents

Are you sure that it's cheaper than a Viper? I went to 1gracing.com (noble's site) and it's priced at 69k w/o engine. Add 22k for the engine. Unless there is something I'm missing. But still a damned nice car.
the noble is a sweet car... and it's a kit car in the us... it might end up costing a lot cause the kit itself is around 60k, then you need the engine... then you need to get someone to put it together and paint it.. ... could end up costing a lot more then one might think.. but damn it's a sweet car.. and not to many of them around...
The Nobles are built in Europe and are shipped to Lexington, Kentucky to this bad ass shop called Horsepower House. Thes guy REALLY know what they are doing. They build extremely high horsepower cars (Turbo'd S2000s, WRXs, lots and lots of imports.) At one time they had the fastest 350z in the world, they can claim that title, they built the engine so strong it had 250hp in NOS, souds crazy huh, its true. You have to be pretty darn good to land a contract like the Noble. They came up with a way to make lots more hp for the Noble and the people at Noble were sold. I have been to the shop before and they are really knowledgable and very cool, check the out.

Yeah... sorry there isn't an s2000 on the planet that can hold a candle to this ride.
If an S2000 is gaining on a Noble M12 then one gas pedal is on the floor and the other isn't being touched.
