Props on saving the cash - I take it you're not going to college?

Wouldn't that technically make it his parent's car? If the financing is in there name, the registration has to be as well - at least in Texas...

Just thought I'd throw it in...not hating if you're 17 and can afford an S then more power to you - especially since the rents are paying insurance (I can't imagine what that costs...mine is $150/mo and I'm 26/m)

Didn't meant to offend - I only asked about college because it is gonna be awful tough to keep up with the payments once you start college (it may come easy to you now, but take it from me college is NOTHING like high school no matter what your teachers try to tell you/prep you for) and I'd recommend taking at least one semester without a job to get comfortable with your course load - especially if you want to be pre-med. Don't risk your future for the moment...

Just my 2 cents

Grades aren't everything but when you're pre-med they are!

Well best of luck in college - wherever you go. If you want to have a great time go to Indiana University (my alma matter)! Loads of fun and tons of hot girls....

I can understand your displeasure with them saying that, I've had it yelled at me while in my Viper (bought by myself, I'm an attorney) even though I'm 31 (look younger though), but just think about the person that makes those sorts of comments - with that sort of attitude, they'll never make something of themselves or ever have something as nice, so they're a lot worse off

Congrats on saving for the car
