you really know nothing about NSXs do you?
NA1's with the J30 motor are 270bhp about 235-240whp and run about the same as a AP1 s2k in the 1320 maybe a hair faster.
the NA2 NSXs are a whole different animal and also very underrated. the 3.2 liter motor was rated at "290hp" but many NA2s make 260-270whp stock. these cars run anywhere from 13.1-12.7 depending on the driver.
it should also be noted that the NA1 3.0 responds to mods VERY well. I/H/E on a NA1 will make up to 40whp.

The stock NA1 or NA2 NSX was never considered a VERY FAST cars;Howver,It is a Super Handling and very nice looking Car
According to the Car & Driver magazine tested in march 2002,It ran 5.0 secs from 0-60 and 13.4 in a 1/4 mile.
So,Can you please show me where did you get the info that the stock NA2 can reach 12.7-13.1 in 1/4 mile?
The bimmer and Corvette boys criticized that the NSX is very slow for the monies.LOL

0-60 = 4.5 seconds
1/4 mile = 12.9 seconds
Silly Car and Driver!
The NSX is one of the sexiest Japanese cars out in my opinion. Nice and low, wide bodied and can handle very high speeds easily.
I'm betting the NSX pull on highway from any speed would be FAST...
For now i'm happy with my AP1. The 50/50 weight distribution, RWD, track ready handling, acceleration from any highway speed, and 9000rpm is SICK. It's the most fun i've had in years! I'm always looking forward to the twisties in the S.
I'd love to have the NSX in my garage one day too...
