The S2000 is no match for an STi of any year, in any gear, at any speed, and most definitely not from a standing start. A mildly modded S2000 will hang with a stock STi at speeds above 100 mph, and may pull slightly from 125 to 145, but that's where it ends (and who drives a stock STi anyway?).
S2000's compete with WRX's, not STi's (with respect to drag-racing). If a thread exists where a common S2000 beats a common STi it was the driver that was beat, not the car.

s2kguy: it's not being used to evom, i've had a close friend killed street racing and another who just go a suspended license. Evom has very little to do with my opinion.

S2K's run half a second faster than WRX's in the 1320. their also faster to 60. i know the 1-2mph trap difference from a stock STi to an stock s2k is SOOO huge. their a low 13sec car. their not C6 Zo6's running low 11's stock. they are a very beatable car. i've it before but make a Evo/STi run the 1320 rear wheel drive and see how fast they run. 3200lbs car with 250whp(STi) and what it run high 13's!

S2Kguy, first of all they are 2 completly different cars... an S is a roadster and the STI is a shitbox on wheels with a turbo.If the STI didn't come from the factory F/I'ed the S will destroy it.It's amazing the S can even keep up with an STI let alone beat one with just a couple simple bolt on's.

my roomate has an 06 STI, not the best driver but not terrible either, his subaru eats up my s2000
