So the other night I was cruising down a local highway doing about 50mph (speedlimit) and a guy in what looks like an old Fierro or maybe an old mr2 comes flying up beside me(it was dark, and I didn't look closely). He slows down to pace me, speeds up a little, slows down etc while his friend is leering at me through his passenger window.

After about a minute of this I'm thinking to myself, is this guy on crack? So I decide to see how serious he is, drop it into 4th (btw, should have went to 3rd but I didn't want to scare him away) and gun it. Sometimes I forget just how fast my evo is, because I blasted off even being in the wrong gear(340ft of torque is cool ). He tried to accelerate with me for about 1/2 a second before figuring out he had a snowball's chance in hell.

After that he wouldn't line up with me again, even when I slowed down for him. At a light, he pulled behind me in the right lane so as not to line up with me . A few minutes later a civic showed up and he started pacing that guy instead haha.

I really think this guy thought I had a lancer with a wing, or just doesn't know the difference between a base lancer and a lancer Evolution.

next time drop into 3rd and lunge forward just to get him going and go back to driving normally and laugh as he takes off and realizes that he's only racing himself.

my buddy has an Evo IX and it's fast in stock form, so im sure with you being modded you are very quick. good kill and dont worry about the haters.

 

I LOVE DOING THAT!.....

I even love to line up with my buddy's AP2 at a light......make a bunch of noise rolling back and forth making sure we got peoples attention.....light turns green and we putt away! hahahaha

But I LOVE the evo! nice kill. i'm surprised you even wasted your gas with that kinda power hahaha... i prolly wouldve too..just to bring others back to reality
