Default Prick in a Audi TT

It was hot out so me and the wifey took the two boys out to the beach at the lake (Prior Lake for those locals), we were rolling 3 cars deep and just following each other. Got on CR13 and we'd just cruised, we're doing the speed limit as well when two guys in a convertible Audi TT started pacing me. It was nothing new to me cuz the S is so damn sexy that you'll never know who's watching, anyhow they were side by side with me for like 1/2 a mile when I'd glanced over and the driver gave me the middle finger.
My top was down too and I didn't notice them do anything but just rolling along side the S, I didn't think much of it and just kept rollin like nothing happened. They then rolled up to my brother inlaw (which was in front of me) in his 91 automatic teggy with full Combat kit/catback and play who can speed up and slow down faster. After they'd won (I suppose) cuz my bro inlaw wasn't in the game, they'd downshifted and took off to prove that they're more ricer than my bro inlaw with his raggity automatic 91 teggy.
Wished they'd tried that with me, looks like they rather pick on a lesser cars. Oh well, I'm happy they'd won cuz if not then there's something wrong.

Thanks for reading guys...

They're everywhere. Had a guy in a Dakota this morning speed up to about 70 (in 40) to try to keep me from getting to the freeway entrance. It seems like there's no such thing as just going about your business anymore.

I agree with you 100%. It seems like a majority of Volkswagon TT owners think they are fast cars. Far from the truth in OEM form. They are rated at 220 hp so in reality to the wheels I am looking at 175hp-190hp. Thats Acura Integra Type R numbers and Toyota Celica GTS numbers. I will put bus lengths on them in either the S2000 or NSX.

Actually, the base model TT is only rated at 180hp, so depending on which one you come across they are even slower. My cousin has a 180hp TT with the quattro awd and it's a dog.

EDIT -

Looks like they only make one type of TT now, 250hp, but I know the old ones were slow.
Didnt know that. Thanks. What years were considered the older ones? 2000-2002?

There is a new Audi TT that I am running into daily on my way to work and home. I have interest in them too, now. This is what I found Audi is saying about their current Special Edition coupe.
