Default Punk'd a GTO

I was coming back from Eurosunday in Woodland hills (which you locals should check out, btw, great place to see cars, awesome roads nearby, I met a fellow S2ki'er there last weekend with a GPW F20 car with an intake and some suspension stuff).

Anyway, get on the freeway, tooling along in the third lane, and a youngish kid comes up behind me in a newer GTO (hoodscoops, so Im guessing the 400hp LS2). I move over to give him space, he comes along side, grins at me, and then hammers it. 400hp vs....well, a lot more. Lol. Im in 4th at 70 (didnt think I'd need third) and I catch him in the span of a second, wave byebye and pull a couple of carlengths on him quickly.

I didnt expect to walk away so hard, I havent raced anyone lately, forgot how hard this sumbitch pulls. And now with the NT01s on it, I can actually stand on the throttle all the way through second gear and stay hooked up. Its so damn fast in the upper rpms that I get nauseous, cant imagine riding passenger!

Just sold SLPs, MagnaflowX, and a Vararam VRB2.

I'm lettin it go for $40.

Pakisho,

I was at Eurosunday as well. Where did you park? What color is your Z06? My black 993TT was parked next to a yellow C6 Z06 and a red GT3.

modification to the trans that makes for a very smooth shift.

No More Click, Click between shifts

(some feel the tremec has excessive 'click')

s2kmaniac81, the Z06 is an awesome car. Just think S2000 + more hp and higher limits.

I will be picking up another Z06 soon, but this time going for C6Z06 variant. Reason why I didn't jump an another C5 Z06 was I am getting tired with spending so much $$ modding AND i got tired of the C5 interior.

No doubt you can do alot with the C5... sky is the limit.

Pakisho, what exhaust do you have? Dude, the SLP Loudmouths I just sold.......are 10x louder than the S2000 Invidia. YES........TEN TIMES!!!!!!!!!! (Straight Pipes for the S2K folk.) Sold the X-Pipe too.....omg talk about exhaust pulses. Straight up Nascar.

I've heard X cammed + LGs + SLPs and it may even have been louder than Nascar lol.

I still offer my experience and help to the Z06 folk, so if you need help let me know.

I had the SLPs before I got my heads/big cam/Kooks no cats, I took them off after one day. They sounded awesome, but it was just too insane for the streets especially around where I live. I think Pakisho actually warned me about that before I got the H/C.

Here's how it sounded with the SLPs,

Click

Oh yah, pick on somebody your own size Pakisho!!
