Raced a 97 GT
LOL!
Yesterday, on my way home from work on a usual route and pulled up next to a Red 97 GT.
I was in the right lane and after the light, that lane actually merges into the left lane. Everyday, I take that lane and every time I just punch it of the line and out run most of the trafic to get ahead (hey its completely legal
)
Anyways yesterday When I set myself up, there was a throaty sounding mustang next to me and he kept blipping the throttle as if he was setting up to spank me.
SO, light turns green, and I put almost 2 cars on him before the end of first. even after I merged in his lane, he moved over to the next one and tried to catch up to me but at that point, I was in 3rd and had 3-4 cars on him.
My Radar detector started to go off, so I slowed down and put my hand out the window and made the 5-0 signal.
A couple blocks later, we passed a cop slowly and that was it. We didnt get pulled over or anything.
When we got to the next light, he pulled up beside me and said "thanks man, I really appreciate that. Its not like I had a chance against that thing anyway
I complimented his car, and the way it sounded too (Even though I was just being nice, and didnt mean it )
It was nice to actually see a polite Mustang owner!
