Default raced another S2000

I was out at the street races in Denver last week and there was this other yellow S2K there. The owner asked me if I wanted to run, so I said sure. I asked him what he has on it...he said it was stock. So we go line up, I rev to 7K, the starter drops his hands and we're off...only something isn't right. He's inching up on me in every gear.(I lost) Now I know I'm not a bad driver, so I ask him to race again. This time I launch at 6500 and didn't spin so much. I have a little lead on him when I gain traction but he's still catching up to me!! At the end of second I had about half a car on him and then I missed third, he pulled ahead and I shut it down. I talked to his friend and found out that he had his Cat and resonator taken out. No Wonder!!!

The S2K owner also had an M3 w/ 70 shot of Nitrous. He raced my friend's turbo Integra GS-R. The Teg spun it's wheels all the way through second and when he got traction it looked like the teg caught the M3 but they where quite a ways away and it was hard to tell.

I don't remember the S2K/M3 owners name but he said that he sometimes comes to this board. My friend with the Teg wants to race your M3 again, his tires were pretty bald and now he has some drag radials.

That's what I thought too. As a matter of fact I was going to do the same the very next day, but I decided to just do it when I get my turbo in March.

Maybe within a 500 RPM range -- and with the loss of torque over a wide RPM range.

Polluting the environment to gain a tenth is IMO pretty stupid.

Yeah, the only time that he would pull on me was from 8K and on. Other than that he was just as fast as me.
