We went from first gear. My rear diff was bad and he took me by a car and a half. Then my diff got worse. I've lost to an E46 M3 by a full car so I knew something was wrong with my car. Then the clicking started to get louder. My car when I picked it up wasnt performing like it usually does.

 

Yea, something must be wrong with your car or that M3 cause it should have beat you by more than a car.

 

I have beaten M3s before

and have lost to the newer ones by a car

 

S52 M coupe -- in my epxerience a car or two to 100. They pull from any speed to any other provided equal gear selection.

S54 M coupe -- no contest, they are faster.

I own a E46 M3, an S52 M coupe, and a 01 S2000. The S52 is almost equal in speed to the S. From a dig the S52 wins.

With the E46 there is no contest. It walks either car pretty easily.

 

 

i dont get it, my buddy had a 97 ///M3 and with cai and active-autowerk catback and i can pull him from a dig. i didnt think he was that bad of a driver.

 

E46 is probably what the reference was to...E36 I think it is a driver's race..with a little tiny itty bitty advantage to the S

Well my car had a bad rear diff thats why I lost.

I have lost to an E46 with final drive mod by alot!
