Your right. I have owned both an S2000 and 350z Track with mods and can tell you that the S2000 seems or was faster from a stop but once over 130mph the 350z will walk right past a S2000.

But be that as it may my 04 NSX will walk past both the S2000 and 350z.
Why is that??? The NSX is give or take 1 second faster in the quarter. That IMO is still a drivers race. If the s2k is modded then its even closer. Don't get me wrong the NSX is a beautiful car but its not a mclaren f1.

Its a driver thing. In this race obviously that guy was probably distracted by the g/f or something. The 350Z has a slight advantage on the S2000 on a straight line contest but of course that its not something a good driver in the S2000 can't fix. I had my fair runs with several 350Z about 10 of them and only lost to 2, and those were the ones not driven by posers. One of the ones I can't catch (he walks on me in 3rd gear) is a really close friend of mines and more than likely will make any stock S2000 suffer the same demise. I have not lost yet a race to a stock S2000 and even a few with bolt ons and fallen victim to my stock AP2. Like I said in the start, its a driver thing.

Have you had experience of ownership or extensive behind the wheel time will all three vehicles here?

A stock NA2 is far superior in every aspect to any stock S2000. That is fact. You may be talking about a NA1 but that car is still faster than any stock S2000. That is another fact.
It is not a drivers race. Trust me. Been there done that my friend.

NA1 maybe but my money is still on the NA1.

I agree with you on one aspect though. The NSX looks really nice.

Nobody said it was a BMW except you. I didnt say that.

Do you know what one second means in the 1/4 mile?
