i am still trying to figure out if you were serious or are being sarcastic.

Nice death BTW. alot of people underestimate the S. but we can't win em all.

wantnone,

My roomate owns an s2000 which I have driven on multiple occasions. I own an FD-series RX-7. Both from a stop and on the highway the RX-7 is much faster. From a stop I can't even put all the power down in 1st or 2nd due to wheel-spin.

You're in SF, so am I, want to go take a ride?

are u kidding. I drive an 04 S and I'll sit here and admit that RX-7's are monsters. by the looks of clayne's rx-7 with the nice interior and gauges (sleeper), I would say he would without a doubt walk on my 04!!!
RX-7's are BEASTS!!!

clayne - nice 7, i love the seats. how much power you pushin? or is that to be kept unknown...

Well, since I got some pics up that are actually decent, and us RX7 owners are showing off, here you guys go:

http://www.9kaccessories.com/images/carpics/rx7/

All the pics that begin with rx7 are the recent ones of mine. And they're big. I've been at the parents house over the holidays so they're still full size, so beware.

And wantnone, Clayne is right, the RX7 will beat an S2000 stock for stock, unless the driver sucks. Of course, when I had my S2000, I raced a completely stock FD and he jumped a car or two at the start, and then we stayed even. He was burning some oil at the time, so it might not have been running full strength. It isn't a cut and dry case, but the RX7 SHOULD win.

Thanks...the red is just too popular for me...Even though I know its a hell of a lot easier to keep clean!

My friend has a red one with Fikse rims and it actually rivals almost any other color RX7 I've seen.

I would have gotten black if I had a choice - but when I picked my car up years ago there weren't many even available on the used market.

infinitebass, did that S2000 have a battery-related fire? It looks like the fire originated from there.

Dude, ouch.
