even so, this story just kinda makes me go.... huh?
From the sounds of it I would question whether this person could even be certain it was a Trans Am.

What is happening in our schools these days anyway?

This story is funny! It's like hearing my 3 yr-old niece recite a story.

Was it one of those mid 70s Trans Ams with the huge bird decal on the hood, T-top and an 8 track? Those rule! I always thought I'd get one of those some day and play KISS Destroyer, or at least Detroit Rock City full blast while cruising the mall

BTW, I am NOT trying to be sarcastic. I really DO want to have an early to mid 70s TA someday.

well i know that it is a stock 2000 or 99 i believe. plus i know cause all we do is talk about our cars to eahother and he even brought time slips to work and i know he pulled a 14 flat. i dont think a regular firebird can do that. it is one of those ones that has a big snout on the hood. and to wisconsin i am sorry i used the wrong term i was bouncin off the rev limiter. i am sorry i sound like ur 3yr old neice reciting a story purple sky, it wanst my intension.

he pulled a 14 flat? holy crap he's a terrible driver. are you SURE it's not a 1997 or earlier model?

a 1998+ trans am can do about a 13 flat in the 1/4 mile. if he ran 14 flat then he's got to be one of the worst LS1 drivers you can find.

even the 1997 and earlier LT1 trans am can run high 13's stock.

look at his tail lights. are they "honeycomb" style or what?

IIRC inset headlights mean lt1, the smooth headlights mean ls1.

Wisconsin, or anyone else for that matter, out of curiosity, what will a stock 1976 Z28 run 0-60 and through the 1/4?
Thanks in advance for your help.
