ran 2 diff 350z's
well these 2 guys are local on our strip, I never got a chance to catch them in the S, I seen the one run 13.40 at the track, he has exhaust, no cats, and a intake just from what I can physically see/hear, the other I believe is similar.
Well everytime I've raced these guys I've been in my turbo integra or my friends turbo hatchback and we spank the hell out of them, every time(we met on more than one occasion)
Well tonight, me in the S(MY03) with my girl, while they were both alone in their cars. I have an AEM CAI and invidia exhaust. I ran both of them from a first gear, vtec roll, spanking them til about the middle of 4th gear they both pulled about a half a car in front of me and we shut down. I had the top up, I usually dont but I figured I'd put it up for this.
If they were stock I think I might have beat them all the way out.
oh well, I wont tell anyone when I get the gears installed.

13.4 is a really good time for just those mods on a 350Z, like really good times. a few guys wont run that with a single turbo package. those guys probably have a lot more done or your track prep and density altitude must be godly!

So these 350z's ran 13.4? and you had a passenger? and your top was down, and you beat them 1st through the middle of 4th? and they ended up beating you by half a car? I would think an s2000 w/out a passenger and with the top up would still get beat badly by any car that runs 13.4....atleast more than half a car... factor in the passenger and the top was down, i would think it would b even worse

the top was up. I had a passenger, and I've seen the one car at the track. and yes we do have good climate for 1/4 times.
the track is 50-100 feet above sea level. was I supposed to get my ass handed to me badly or what?
