Ran a 350Z
Those G-tech times are right on pace with the ones Sev recorded for his car (although I don't think he was at sea level, but his temps may have been colder).
Rob, no S2k has gone 200 mph, but since a 2.0 liter Civic just set a record at Bonneville well over 200 mph with a supercharged B-series engine, I don't think it would be an issue to make an S2K hit that speed. Especially since speeds on salt are typically slower than pavement. Its all a matter of what you want to spend.
Steve, you're saying the Z is the bang for the buck king? I think WRX owners would have something to say about that, as would owners of the new Cobra. But you were more concerned with pointing out it wasn't a Honda, weren't you?

he's always like that....ughhh! i think he spends his time here waiting for any chance to cut Honda down, the S in particular. so sad....
i agree, i think the wrx is the best bang for the buck around. cobra is a bit expensive for a project car for me...

What was Sev's speed at the end of the 1/4 mile, as indicated by the GTECH?
As most already know, the GTECH indicates a 2-3mph faster trap speed as it measures speed at the end of 1320ft rather than the last 60ft as commonly used at tracks. Even so with the correction, at 105-106mph, those are verrry fast! I believe most S2000's have a hard time breaking 100mph in stock trim.

You will have to wait til Nissan releases the 350Z convertible trim. I doubt 350Z vert will sell under 35k. In fact fully loaded 350Z vert may sell right under 40k.
I paid under 33k for my S2k
Which car is better bang for buck?
You seem to have lota problems with Hondas.. Did you sell your S2k yet?
