It doesn't count thousandths of a second.
How did you get a 6.359

How are you all launching?
Do you get a lot of tire spin?

Yes it does count thousandths. I'm just flooring it (spacebar) and then shifting into first gear at the gren light; then nail all your shifts and make sure to hit the brakes and pull the 'chute!

It took hella long to get the car that fast - it gets boring after awhile, but I just had to beat the 6.78.

I have won every race through the championship, played for about 45 minutes, bought upgrades on the engine and trans all the way past the end of the red bar, lightened my car into the yellow and can't break 10.0 seconds.
I have been launching the same as you Alex, full throttle then shifted every shift just at the beginning of redline and... nothing... just low 10's.

I think the game may be depend on the person's computer...there are a lot of flaws in that game.

Franky, you're still shifting too early - like in GT3 (on PS2), shift right before the fuel cutoff.

I can't believe I just spent an hour on that game. After a certain point, the car doesn't get any faster. Best I could do was a 6.729.

I never got any faster than 12.8. I got tired of playing cause the engine always redlined in fifth halfway down the track. I don't like running 12.8@240mph
