Default Ran with a 911

Well followed one.
Those things are FAST!
Almost topped off 4th gear a couple times.
I'm still new to the car, and am worried about blind spots with the top up. So I took it easy just
let him go then I followed, no weaving though.

The S pulls so much harder than my WRX did over 100

Anyone here with more skills / guts run a 911, how'd you do?

I ran a newer '99+ 911 Carrera last summer out in the Hamptons. Their is a long straight stretch between Montauk and Amagansett. No question the 911 is faster .... pulled me a little at over 100mph ...but not much.

AWD hurts that car at a roll. Stock for stock, the S2000 should put cars on the WRX after like 80.

stock for stock the S puts cars on the WRX before 80 too with little problem.....as long as it's dry out. After 80 it's more like buses not cars

I ran against an 02 996 and won. I also ran against a buddy with an 01 996 on the highway - I would pull ever so slightly, nothing dramatic, but noticable.

I'm so envious of your M Coupe, I have always loved the way that car looks. Some people don't see the beauty but I do.
How much did you pick it up for? Did you get a deal because it was a coupe? Druel!!!!

Thanx man.

Actually I paid MSRP for my car. They actually wanted 4k over MSRP because it was a coupe. Out the door came out to be shy of 50k by a few hundred dollars. The car is worth every penny
