Default ran vs an srt4 today

Was on the highway rolling around 50 i believe... The dude just got his car like 2 days ago so i'm guessin an 05/04 w/ 250hp???

So he pulls on me after i shift into 3rd, he was about 2 cars ahead of me the whole time until around 120 when a cop was behind us...
I talked to him later on, and he told me he threw into 2nd (which i should have done?)
Are these things that fast??

Yeah they are pretty wicked in a straight line. Back when I was into modding/racing DSM's there wasn't much around that could beat us, but once those things are modded a bit they can become a real threat on the highway.

If you threw it into 2nd, you could've kept up even with him, or perhaps closed the gap considerably.

Cop was behind you?

those srt-4's are decently fast from the factory. What's scary is how easy and cheap it is to make them faster...straight from the factory as well.

It's a thing called turbo. It doesn't take nearly as much to modify a turboed car.

Some DSMs can hang with the big boys too.
