Default RB vs. Me

Well, I have never seen the potential of a Skyline in person but last night i ran into a 240SX with a RB25det motor. He pulls beside me and I didn't really pay him any attention until I tried to speed up and he stayed with me. That's when I noticed the pillar guages and an extremely loud blow-off valve.
"I was like, another SR20 owner!"
So making sure everything is clear, I bump down to 3rd (at 40mph) and we go! He pulls off in front of me and I was impressed until I thought about it and shoulda went down to 2nd!!! ~DOH~
So we get around traffic and come to a light leading outta town. The light turns green ( Being 6' tall I have to bend over to see the light with the top up ). He pulls away first and I follow...I am on his bumper through first, I shift into 2nd and we are dead even! He is already in third ready for 4th when i hit 3rd! Thats when put 2 cars on him!!! I shut it down at 106 and he blows by me....I flash my lights and turn off...
As i'm heading back I see a buddy and decide to go say hey. The fella ends up being there and comes over and talks...I ask him what he has, " a SR?"
he replies, " Naw, a RB..." I didn't know what know what to say?!?!? I was excited but didn't want to be a jerk and gloat....
The guy ended up being really co0 and complimented me on how nice my car was! I was soo excited I talked my girls ear off about it for a bout an hour....LOL..Anyway, I thought you guys would be interested in hearing about my (atleast to me) exciting night!

well, the SR in a Sentra is 4cyc, NA and FWD. A RB25 is a I6, RWD, Turbo engine. So its not a good comparson hehe

Two Cam, what does your S have?

The SR20De-T is also used in the Silvia's in Japan. Turbo charged SR20de engine... good solid block and makes gobs of power. Dont mistaken it for just the FWD Sentra NA version by any means.

The sr is a better motor than the rb.
Ive raced many a r33 skyline and it got ugly for them. No big deal as we have em on every street corner here.

i dont think that the sr is a better motor than the rb. i think it is a better motor for the 240's, but not a better motor in general. both are very good engines, but the rb just has waaaayyyy more potential. it is also much stronger.
bossting6- im guessing ur s2k is boosted... sweet.
