An S2000 is a "real" car, a car that can embarrass even SRT-10 ACRs and Z06s on a "real" race track, considering the hundreds of extra horsepower they have.

08 SRT-10 ACR race tires - 1:55.7 (Car and Driver)
Evasive S2000 street tires, stock power - 1:56.7
05 Z06 street tires - 2:01.0 (Car and Driver)
100% stock S2000 CR street tires - 2:03.5 (Charles Ng)

Ok, I couldn't help but share. I just wish more people knew what some "slow" cars can do on a "real" race track.

 

I read the other thread that got locked. Most people who do stuff like that are generally tool bags. They have no idea what a "real car" is. Just take heed in knowing that you were driving your s2000 and he was hanging out of the window of his friends car. Idiot.

I'll tell you what isn't a real car - this. There was no Z06 for 2005.

Depends on the track. Put the same cars on Oschersleben, probably not so close for the CR.

 

well then that obviously isnt a "Real" Race track then!
