A friend of mine did this to someone once before. He was in the turn lane waiting for the green arrow to turn left. A car pulls up to him and begins his revving, so he obliges and revs as well. Little did this guy know that my buddy was in the turn lane. Well sure enough he gets the green arrow and turns left at a normal pace whilst the other guy burns out and starts going straight. he had to slam on his breaks because the turn lane coming from the opposite direction was also turning left. guy nearly cause a multicar crash because he never realized the guy he was trying to race was in a turn lane.

 

A few months ago when I still had my SS AP2, I was driving around with my g/f to keep dinner at a restaurant. While stopped at a signal, a guy with his 2 young sons pulled up next to me in a two-seater rusted Ford pick-up truck. The guy's oldest son pointed at my car and immediately, the fellow began revving his engine non-stop, much to the delight of his boys. They kept gesturing for me to race, but I found it hilarious. My g/f and I laughed hysterically. Once the light turned green, the guy took off while I drove off in a normal pace. Not even 10 seconds went by and a cop pulled the guy over.

 

Wow I believe I saw this "ricer" lol yesterday night on my way home I'm at the light of 107 ave and coral way and this si pulls up with what an aem sticker so I smile remembering this thread lol and he sees I'm smiling and he's going to turn right and guns it peeling out then bogs the car lol and I just say in my head WTF?!? It was a silverstone charcoalish color a bit darker than silver aem sticker on left hand side(driver side) rear window and a fart can exhaust which was so annoying to hear when he peeled out and drove away lol

 

*sigh* all this si hating.

My si is faster than my s2000 and my si is not boosted.

Take that for what you will haters

 

Your si may be faster than your s2000 in a straight line, but none of us (hopefully) bought this car for that reason.

 

 

And that cost you what?... A couple grand? To be faster than a 14 sec car..

And nobody was hating on SIs. I was just sharing my experience about this one ricer that drove one. Actually lots of ricers drive em...

 

No this one was orangeish. I'm starting to see a trend in SI drivers...

 

 

i don't hate SI's ? i like them actually..
just some of the drivers not the car..
