The dumb owner of a Type S RSX tried to race me a few weeks ago.

As I was tooling along on the freeway, this RSX in the lane next to me flips on his hazards, swerves into my lane and cuts me off to get me to race. So I kindly oblige and whip out around him as we were stuck behind some slower car. I slow down after I change back into my lane to let him fly past me. The road ahead is completely empty and I give him 3-4 carlengths before I downshift into 4th and fly past him. About 8-10 carlengths later I shut down and flipped on my hazards he slows down, change lanes and just falls back with his tail tucked between his legs.

Truely pathetic, I don't know why they would even try sometimes as they know the results..

hehe.......never raced any of those but they are just plain ugly! The latest magazines were showing times of 15.2 and 15.1....sad! Again, they were not drag cars or anything....hope the Type R is a little quicker

C'mon guys, they aren't that slow. I'm just a bit anxious to see how fast the RSX type Rs are gonna be...

Sure we do, just slap on that big bad, almighty TYPE R sticker and voila! Instant 20+hp!

Saw a Type R at a dealer when I was back home in Australia last October. They look pretty good.

I have had a few RSX's try to run me, but there was no contest. They do try though. Must be that television commercial they see that makes them think they are F1 drivers?

Then again, the S2000 isn't the be all and end all, but it definitely IS faster and handles better than the RSX. Honda would have some serious product positioning problems if the RSX outdid the S2000!

the s2000 may not be the the "be all and end all car" but it puts up good fights againts all other cars in its class and can beat alot of other high performance race cars stock vs stock. give the s2000 a speedcraft turbo and there goes 90% of the things out there the turbo does ALOT for the car (so i have heard)
