Default Run in with WRX

Had a litte run-in with a nice WRX today. No dig races, but we were cruising on the hwy and hit some twisties. I think it was a non- STi, but damn was it fast. He didn't pull away from me on the hwy much, but I think he could have if he wanted to. I stuck to his ass in the twisties, but he was definitely no slouch. The only mods he had (that I could see) was an exhaust, wheels, and it looked dropped. My mods include 4.57's, comptech intake, T1R sparrow exhaust, and Megan testpipe. How easy is it to make those things faster? It sounded mean too. Props to that guy, sweet car.

If a wrx can pull a 4.56 S, he had some huge mods under the hood.

Well, there were no dig races, or any actual race for that matter. It was all highway and twisty fun at speeds greater than 50. From a dig, the gears have the greatest advantage. It was a pretty fast car though.....but so is mine. It's always fun just to cruise around with another relatively fast car. Sometimes I find myself wanting an LS1.....or 5000 for a supercharger. Just stoked that I got to cruise around topless today.

stock wrx's are pretty slow from a roll stock. im gonna guess it had an IHI VF-series upgrade. those are probably the most common turbos for daily drivers. and yeh they are relatively cheap to upgrade.
