Default S2000, Audi S4... Lots of fun on 101 yesterday.

It was my girlfriend and I in the S4 and a younger looking guy (older than me) with his buddy. I wouldn't call it a race because there was a fair amount of traffic and we drove with each other for about an hour, but it was definitly a chase. It was a yellow S2000, I would assume close to stock although it did have that different front end some of you guys run. Thing was fast and the driver was good too. We played pretty spiritedly from 50-120 at about 5 different points in the drive. There was light traffic everywhere so we were both tested. This is not a flame post as you'll notice nowhere did I say I kicked his ass or he kicked mine, because neither happened. It was just two enthusiast's doing what us enthusiast's love to do..... DRIVE FAST. Hope to see more of you on the road. And I'm selling my S4 this week and my actually cross to the darkside and join you S2000 guys. I found a guy selling one, I'm thinking of picking it up. So who knows, maybe next week I'll find the guy again and we'll do it all over, one difference. Me in the S2000 as well.

I'm 19 years old, and paying for my own cars. The Audi S4 is a little more than what most might consider cheap. Basically I'm saying, I'm moving from Cali to Florida at the end of the year and I could not have finished paying for the S4. I bought it brand new and it only has 7000 miles on it. So now I've decided to do what I should have done 9 months ago, buy a used car.

Since I'm new to this forum, I'm obviously checking it pretty often. So I will answer all your guys questions. On AudiWorld, if you blink an eye you miss seven pages of important info. On with my life... Stuart, FL. I'm sure how familiar you are with the area but it is on the Atlantic Coast about half way inbetween Miami and Orlando.

RaiderS4-Ahh Stuart, gorgeous place. My parents live in Jupitor, and I fish with my dad alot off the Stuart inlet and near pecks lake. You will enjoy it, I wish I could take my car with me when I visit them so we could go for a rip. I guess I could take my sister's Corrola . Decent surfing down that way somtimes, for florida, not like Mavricks or anything.
Cheers

The Florida S2k board is pretty active. Another member hopefully for us.

As for you selling your S4. what year and color is it? What options do you have and what price are you willing to part with? I am interested in one but Reeves Audi said that they dont see anything in inventory pretty soon for the S4's . I was planning on getting on in like 5-6 months. That or I could always wait till the new one comes along

The S4 is a 2001, black on onyx/silver Alcantara leather. Not really for sale, my mother is taking it because my dad already has a TT and he said he would rather sell my moms VW Passat then let me sell my S4. Basically I sold my car to my mom. For exactly 40,000. It has only 8000 miles on it. If I were you I'd wait for the next generation S4, with quattro and 340 horses it's gonna kill the E46 M3. As for the search for an S2000 things are going well. I found a guy selling a black one with that crazy red leather I love and it's affordable too. It already has Exhaust, Injen Intake, Nuespeed springs. So it's pretty cool. We'll see, I get my check for the S4 on Saturday. I'll keep you all posted.
