Because he has the K20 he will stomp you stock(N/A). Honestly remember he has all that weight up front on his tires for traction and ways up too 300lbs less than you. There was a k20 civic that raced me and he kept up with me pretty good and was all motor. I only beat him by a car length! There quick little fudgers! Yet, just remember your in a S and he is in a Civic. Last time I was in a civic I didnt ever get the looks from people I get while in my S.
As for the idiot that posted S2000 was not built for drag racing! Neither is a Cobalt SS yet if you watch Sport Compact NHRA what is a drag car. You can make a car into anything. Also honda made it quick for what taking turns. LOL a Miata will smoke us taking turns so what was the S made for???? For People to make them to what they want and enjoy its all around performance!

S2000 are common as Civics now days… I saw 7 S2000's (3 Red, 2 Yellow, 1 Black and 1 Blue) on my way into the office this morning… In the S2000 it’s like I’m invisible (just another car) nothing special, but in my other rides I get a great deal of attention…

So i was at the local barber shop with my barber and we were talking about cars and some how he told me he knew the EP and started telling me what he had. He told me he said that he had a k24 with a K20 head with 75 shot of nos, guess he was lying to me when he told me he just had a k20 with bolt on's.
