Yesterday afternoon my girlfriend and I were driving down the highway when a yellow c6 corvette came flying up behind me. I am not sure who the drive was, seemed like some kid who took daddies car for a joy ride. He slowed down as soon as he got beside me. For a few blocks he'd speed up and then slow down, speed up and slow down. Eventually my girlfriend asked if I was going to race him. Gotta love her. The next time he speed up I speed up with him pulling next to him. At this point we were going 65mph. The driver over the corvette yelled out, "lets go on the 3rd honk". He honked 3 times and we were off. Almost instantly I had a car length on the corvette. I pulled hard to 120 and then let off. I couldn't tell you how far head I was as I was paying attention to what was in front of me. It's amazing how fast this car gets up to 120mph. Once the corvette caught up he waved his hand out the window and that was that. Nothing too exciting but neverless still a victory. Theres a guy I know who just got a twin turbo installed on his 350z. He blew is motor when it was supercharged, so he is waiting a little while to break in the new motor. Once he's ready I'll be shooting a video of the race.
