Default S2000 v Z3 :D

Well my dad and I where coming back from London in our new S2000 . We where on the motor way doing about 60-70 mph crusing, 10 at night . But we encountered a Z3 wanting to race us. I did not think this guy had ever raced an S2000 before. we wanted to stopped to put our hood up on the hard shoulder. we got moving after we clipped it in place and very quickly caught up with the Z3 . who had slowed allot to let us catch up. Well my dad was a bit annoyed by this guy continuously tail gating us once we had caught up. So we pulled in to the fast lane and yes he stuck to our bumper. my dad changed the car down to 4th gear to improve our revving from about 3000 rpm to about 6,500 or 7000 rpm we put the revs up to 8000 and just watched in our rear as this Z3 tried to keep with us. My dad changed in to 5th gear and kept the revs high and then 6th. we had pulled away so much from the Z3 that he was no longer in sight. My dad let the engine decline in revs to about 4000 rpm then we cruised in the slow lane. about 1 junction later the Z3 shot past us in the fast lane. my dad and I both looked at each other and . Well I knew Z3's where bad but not that bad. We should hit the BMW designers for making that car. Yes it a nicely shaped car but they could of put a decent engine in it .

So your comparing the Z3 to your car, or your daddy's car? Do you have a car that compares to a Z3? Do you even have a car?

No I don't have a car im only 16 . but I love cars. and I love sports cars. but I know the S2000 is a brilliant sports car cos my dad has 1. but I have been in a Z3 it just has now top end power like the S. I have been in a Z3 cos we where going to get one before I got my dad to look at an S and im glad I did.

Don't know what caused "I am Jack's VR6" to lean into you like that. From the looks of it he doesn't have an S either. It's puzzling why he would reply like that. Personally I think it's a good post.

Race an M roadster.

Then have fun putting that 1.30 per liter petrol in afterwards.

*shudder* U.K. gas prices give me nightmares.

Thank you RAVENWERK I think you are right about I am Jack's VR6 getting a bit odd about this little encounter with the Z3 . I bet he does not have an S either. Thanks for the comment about the post . I was suprised at how good the front headlights just lit up the whole road ahead of you . Brilliant lights (just cant bear to think of the cost to replace them if they break) . I think the only thing that lets the HONDA down is the torque on the bottom end but it produces allot of power. I was when we had the little encounter with the Z3 and I could not stop for ages because the sheer power and speed you get out of the engine.

A little thanks to all the honda engineers that worked on the S.

... Tell your dad I said Good Kill!

The only way for a Z3 to stand up to an S2k is if its the M model (Any year from 99-2000) 01 on up the S2k will get walked.

Seeing you live in UK meaning the gas prices are astronomical, I would suggest avoiding any Z3 that is not an M.
