Default S2000 vs. 350Z

I drive an 03' with almost 3k miles on it, it is completely stock. The 350Z was a 6speed and is also completely stock.

We rolled out to 5mph and punched it. I was a fender behind when I hit VTEC. At the end of first I was still a few feet behind. I pulled even through 2nd and by the top of 2nd I was about a foot ahead. I took 3rd to about 75 with a fenderor 1/2 car on him and shut down. Nice guy (was not shifting slow), fun run. I hope this helps to settle any pointless disputes.

What was that, about a six second race?

Nice run

I've also ran a 350Z before up to a similar speed, with the reverse results...although the Zed I ran had an exhaust/intake, so it wasn't stock.

Nice run ..
Friend raced a Stock 350Z in his RSX with intake .. and they were dead even .. so i figured you'd lay him down ..and the result would continue through higher speeds ..

the Z's will pull on an s2k (atleast ap1) after third gear, there have been numerous videos of this....especially if the Z has plenum.

The gearing favors the s2000 down low. Even when i raced a decently modded Z I was able to stay ahead until 80 bone stock

there are numerous Z's that have posted slips of 13.7 and 13.8 bone stock which is a rarity for the s2k.

This is true...

And the S2k going 13.7 would be traping around 100- or at BEST 101...The Z's 13.7 would be 102-or 103ish clearly showing as speeds increase the Z has a slight advantage...

blessed, you should be able to take out an s2k in your g35, you are one of the better straight line drivers on the board.... =)
